PURPOSE:To improve the reproducing ability of an optical pickup by attaching a dynamic vibration absorber containing a damper and a weight to the free end of a pickup body which moves while performing the focusing/tracking servo control actions according to the rotation of an optical disk. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 11a doubling as a screw which fixes an actuator 4d that drives a lens 4c in both focusing and tracking directions is attached at a position close to the tip of a pickup body 4 at its free end side. Then a dynamic vibration absorber 11 serving as a resonator including the mass, a spring, the resistance and an elastic substance like the rubber, etc., is attached to the shaft 11a. Thus the resonance of the body 4 can be absorbed by the resonance of the absorber 11 itself. Then the resonance due to the vibrations of the actuator 4d in the body 4 can be reduced. As a result, the focusing and tracking actions follow satisfactorily even various vibrations produced during the rotation of an optical disk. Then the faithful reproduction is ensured with an optical pickup device. |
