PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the free area of a storage part and to improve the efficiency of operation by providing a storage means with a working area used for documentation and documents storage area storing the drawn up documents and by controlling them by a means of controlling the document storage area. CONSTITUTION:Storage part 2 is provided with working area 2-0 required for documentation which uses ''kanji'' (Chinese character) and the final document is formed by using the area and then transferred to document storage area 2-1 under the control of documentation control part 1. When area 2-1 has a free part, the starting address and size of it are entered free-area control table 3. For a request for documentation, control part 1 instructs transfer control part 6 to read the sizes of free areas in table 3 and then instructs comparison control part 5 to totalize them and when the total value is greater than the size of area 2-0, the documentation is performed by using area 2-0. After the documentation, the number of bytes is counted by documentation amount counting part 4 and compared with that of the free area held by control part 5. When free areas are scattered in area 2-1, control part 6 moves the storage area of area 2-1 to chain the free areas. |
