PURPOSE:To prevent a computer from generating runaway by applying a power failure detecting signal to the computer as an interruption signal always after completing the start of the computer and setting up or storing a means such as an interruption vector table or an emergency receding program in a RAM. CONSTITUTION:A timing means 40 is formed, and a power failure detecting signal PD and a reset signal RS are applied to the means 40. Even when the signal PD is generated from a power failure detecting means 20 due to the instantaneous power failure in a power supply, the signal PD is invalidated during the period set up larger than the time required for the setting of a means relating to the interruption of an interruption vector table 71, an emergency saving program or the like in the RAM 70 after releasing an operation stop command to the computer 100 based upon the reset signal RS and starting the computer 100, to complete the start of the computer 100. After the passage of the period, the signal PD is applied to the computer as an interruption signal. Even if instantaneous power failure or the like is generated in the power supply immediately after starting the computer 100, the computer 100 can be prevented from generating runaway. |
