<p>There is disclosed a shaped paper box or structure for protecting industrial products, inside conventional packages. This box consists of a substantially box-like body, of square or rectangular plan, the side walls of which have a diverging cross-section and project in a suitable way from the two faces of the bearing surface. The mentioned box-like body, in particular, is made by means of simple folding operation, starting from a cardboard or the like sheet (1), as suitably diecut and ribbed. The same box-like body affords the possibility, as it is introduced in an outer envelope or package (12), of providing a remarkable air gap (14) between the walls and the product to be protected and packaged, through the overall six walls thereof, the top and bottom walls included. Another feature of the invention is that the box-like body, in its not used condition, before its insertion in the packaging envelope, has a flat condition, of small size and, by a simple operation, it can be brought to its condition and inserted, as a plunger, into said envelope both at the bottom and the top like a top hat.</p> |
