PURPOSE:To enable integral refining by pumice according to the applications of materials desired to be deodorized and to make mass production of the deodorant by progressively feeding the pumice part contained in stock 'SHIRASU' and separating the same by using a jig screening machine characterized by sp. gr. sepn. of moisture, thereby subjecting the same to grain size adjustment. CONSTITUTION:The pumice part contained in the stock 'SHIRASU' sand is classified in the sp. gr. nature in water by a difference in settling rate or vibration screening by using the jig screening machine or rotary classifier, etc. The grain size screening is mainly executed by the screening device. However, only the grain size screening is inadequate as the screening for application to the deodorant, for which the classification to the foamable component (pumice) and non-foamable component contained in volcanic glass is needed. The adsorption effect as the deodorant is more affected as the content of the non-foamable component is higher. The grain size mass contains fine particle components at a high ratio and the classification of the pumice requires a substantially high level of techniques but the deodorants screened by each of the grain sizes are formed by executing the classification of the device again or repeating the same. The utilization of the deodorants in a manner as to meet the materials desired to be deodorized is thus enabled. |
