PURPOSE: To provide a terminal of capacitor having appropriate electric characteristics and mechanical characteristics and requiring no soldering or welding by forming a first metal layer to one end of a capacitor winding through spraying such that the strand is not bonded mechanically to the metal layer and then forming a second metal layer, through spraying, on the first metal layer between strands along the fringe while covering the aforementioned part of the strand. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode 14 is formed at one end of a tubular assembly 12 by spraying metal through a nozzle 16. A braided conductor or a stranded wire 18 comprises a plurality of conductive strands 20 arranged contiguously to the first metal layer 14. A second metal layer 24 is then formed on the first metal layer 14 by spraying metal through the nozzle 16 to cover the strands of the conductor arranged contiguously to the first metal layer 14 while touching the first metal layer 14 mechanically and electrically between the strands along the fringe 26 as shown in region 28.
