PURPOSE:To prevent impurities from adhering and entering into a superconducting material to be handled and enable an effective accomplishment of nature of the super-conducting material to be carried out by a method wherein purifying air is supplied to a space for handing the super-conducting material and a concentration of oxygen in the purifying air is kept at a predetermined concentration higher than a concentration of oxygen in the surrounding atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:Interior air is discharged from a grid-like floor 3 to a lower discharging chamber 4. A part of the discharged interior air is deposited out of a system and the remaining air is circulated and supplied in a room. A side wall has a double-walled structure, an ascending air passage 10 is formed and then the interior air is circulated. The ascending air passage 10 has a cold water and hot water coil 11, the circulated interior air is heated or cooled to adjust a temperature within the room. An air supplying duct 14 for supplying the surrounding atmosphere primarily adjusted by a prefilter 12 and an air conditioner 13 is connected to an upper end of the ascending air passage 10. Circulated interior air and the adjusted surrounding atmosphere supplied from an air feeding duct 14 are mixed to each other and supplied to an air feeding chamber 1 6. Oxygen gas from an oxygen gas generator 22 is introduced into an end part of the discharging duct 14, O2 concentration sensor 24 for use in detecting an oxygen concentration in the interior part is arranged within the room and an oxygen concentration in the interior air is maintained at a predetermined value in response to the detected information. |
