<p>PURPOSE:To enable the sufficient heat treatment for curing an oriented film for a liquid crystal by providing a coloring layer contg. low melting point glass powder and a coloring agent which forms a desired color on a glass substrate to a prescribed shape and forming a colored glass layer. CONSTITUTION:The coloring layer 9 contg. the pigment which forms a red color is coated on the glass substrate 1 and is tentatively cured; thereafter a photosensitive resin film 8 is coated over the entire surface. A mixture composed of the low melting point glass powder and fine powder of a selenium pigment is used as the red coloring layer 9. A photomask 10 is then pressed to the photosensitive resin film 8 and the film is exposed by UV light. The coloring layer 9 of the part which is not covered by the photosensitive resin film 8 is etched away so that the coloring layer 9 remains only on the part desired to be dyed on the glass substrate 1. The photosensitive resin film 8 is removed by a remover to complete the coloring layer 9 of the red filter part 4. The coloring layers of a green filter part 5, a flue filter part 6 and a black matrix part 7 are similarly formed. The coloring layers are thereafter subjected to the heating treatment, by which the colored glass layers are formed on the glass substrate 1. The color filter which withstands the heating treatment is thereby obtd.</p> |
