PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of an image flow by detecting directly a resistance value of an area in which a deteriorated layer is apt to be formed in a photosensitive body and operating a heating means. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with a pair of electrodes 5 which are interfaces to the inside of a surface protective layer 4 or an organic compound photosensitive layer 3, and also, have been installed in a non-paper passing area, and a heating means for heating a photosensitive body 1 or the vicinity of the photosensitive body 1. In this state, when a resistance between the electrodes 5 has become a resistance which has been set in advance, it is controlled by driving the heating means. Accordingly, the humidity resistance after the device has been used for a long period of time and at the time of high humidity is improved. In such a way, the generation of an image flow at the time of humidity resistance in the organic compound photosensitive body having the surface protective layer can be prevented. |
