PURPOSE:To provide a small screw type kneading and extruding machine excellent in the kneading efficiency of raw materials, etc., by disposing two helical screw blades cooperatively kneading and transferring the raw materials in a housing. CONSTITUTION:The first rotatable screw shaft 31 is disposed in a cylindrical and top end-opened housing 19 along the axis line of the housing 19 and the first helical screw blade 33 is disposed on the peripheral surface of the first screw shaft 31 so as to reduce the height and pitch of the first screw blade from the base end portion of the screw shaft toward the top end portion thereof. In addition, the second rotatable screw shaft 34 is disposed only in the base end portion region of the first screw shaft 31 in the reverse direction against the first screw shaft 31. To the second screw shaft 34 the second helical screw blade 36 is attached. Raw materials are charged from a charging opening 25 and kneaded and transferred by the cooperative action of the first and second screw blades 33 and 36, followed by extruding the kneaded and transferred raw materials from an extruding portion. |
