PURPOSE:To obtain high image quality and high durability by using a combination of a binder resin made of a specified polycarbonate and a leveling agent of a specified silicone oil. CONSTITUTION:A conductive substrate is coated with the composition containing a combination of the polycarbonate having main repeating structural units each represented by formula I or II and the silicone oil represented by formula III and an organic solvent, such as benzene, toluene, or xylene. In formulae I and II, each of R1 and R2 is H or the like; each of R3-R10 is H, halogen, or the like; and Z is an optionally substituted carbon ring or the like, and in formula III, each of R1-R5 is optionally substituted alkyl or the like; R6 is optionally substituted alkyl; and each of (m) and (n) is an integer of 0-1,000, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to be superior in physical film characteristics, sensitivity, residual potential resistance, and the like, and small in fatigue deterioration and stable in characteristics even at the time of repeated uses. |
