PURPOSE:To obtain the title material having excellent corrosion resistance, magnetic characteristics and temp. characteristics by compounding specific ratio of binder into rare earth transition metallic magnetic alloy powder having specific compsn. consisting of Rem, B, Fe, Co and Ni. CONSTITUTION:The rare earth transition metallic alloy powder contg., by atom., 8-30% Rem (where Rem denotes rare earth elements including Y), if required, furthermore contg. at least one kind among <=8% Si, V, Zr, Nb, Mo, Ta, W, Al, Ti, Ge, Ga, In, Sn and Zn and the balance consisting substantially of transition metal such as Fe, Co and Ni and moreover contg. the compounding amounts of said Fe, Co and Ni in such a manner that 10-75% Fe, 7-50% Co, >8-30% Ni and further 50-90% Fe+Co+Ni are satisfied is prepd. The magnetic alloy powder and <=50vol.% binder are kneaded and molded. By this method, the permanent magnetic material having excellent temp. characteristics and corrosion resistance and showing high magnetic characteristics even in a high temp. area can be obtd. at low cost. |
