<p>NEW MATERIAL:A peptide (salt) expressed by formula I (Z is H, Cys, Phe-Cys, Tyr-Phe-Cys or peptide chain expressed by formulas II-XIII; Y is OH, functional group capble of linking to immunogenic protein which may be mutually crosslinked with -S-S- if plural groups Cys are contained). USE:A hapten for preparing an antibody for immunologically determining endothelin which is a vasopressor peptide. PREPARATION:For example, an amino acid having protected functional groups without participating in reaction is linked through carboxyl groups of the amino acid to an insoluble carrier, such as pam resin, to eliminate protecting groups. An amino acid having protected functional groups without participating in the reaction is then linked thereto. The operating is repeated until a desired peptide chain is attained. The bonds to the insoluble carrier are cleaved by treatment with hydrogen fluoride, etc., to eliminate all the protecting groups and afford the aimed peptide expressed by formula I.</p> |
