PURPOSE:To prevent the excessive discharge of a storage battery, by presetting the information of the scheduled power outage of a master power source into a computer, stopping an inverter immediately before the start of the power outage, connecting the computer to the master power source, and starting the inverter when the power outage is finished. CONSTITUTION:An AC voltage E from a master power source is rectified in a rectifier 1 and a DC is obtained. A storage battery 2 is charged with the DC. The DC is converted into an AC voltage E' in an inverter device 4. The voltage E' is supplied to a computer 6. When the information of scheduled power outage is given, the time of the scheduled power outage is set in the computer 6. An invertor control command A is issued immediately before the start of the power outage, and the invertor device 4 is stopped. A switching command B is outputted from the inverter device 4 to a switching device 5 which is in turn conducted. The AC voltage E is directly supplied from the master power source to the computer 6. When the power outage is started, the operation of the computer 6 is also stopped. When the scheduled power outage is stopped, the computer 6 is started again with the voltage E. The inverter 4 is started with the signal A. The switching device 5 is cut off with the signal B. Thus, the storage battery 2 is protected from the excessive discharge. |
