<p>PURPOSE: To reduce a price by forming a longitudinal groove having a raceway surface on a circularly bent strip or bar, also forming a second longitudinal groove on the opposite limit surface in a mirror symmetrical manner, and thereby manufacturing inner and outer rings without changing bending directions with one roller arrangement. CONSTITUTION: A longitudinal groove having a spherical raceway surface 3 is formed on a limit surface 2 of a bar member or a strip member 1, while a second longitudinal groove having a spherical raceway surface 5 is formed on the opposite limit surface 4. The second longitudinal groove 5 having the same size as the first longitudinal groove 3, is formed in a mirror symmetrical manner therewith. Instead of the spherical raceway surface 5, a V-shaped cross roller raceway surface may be adopted. Inner and outer rings can be manufactured with one roller arrangement. A cost can be reduced without changing bending directions of material according to the inner and outer rings.</p> |
