PURPOSE:To omit excessive operation and to increase a drawing speed, by feeding out recording paper to a drawing state position at the time of paper feed on the basis of the data of the drawing start position and drawing finish position in a bus-scanning direction preliminarily received from external machinery and returning the same to the drawing finish position at the time of drawing. CONSTITUTION:At the time of paper feed, recording paper 3 is sent out to a drawing start position by a distance (b+c) in a direction I and drawing is started from this position. At this time, a head 1 is positioned at a place separated from a platen roller 4 and an ink film 2 is in a stop state and no drawing is performed. Next, at the time of drawing, the recording paper 3 is returned to a drawing finish position only by a distance (b) in a direction II and, at this time, the head 1 is brought into contact with a platen roller 4 and the ink film 2 is simultaneously sent in the direction II and heat is applied to the ink film 2 from the head 1 to perform predetermined drawing on the recording paper 3. |
