PURPOSE:To provide the subject gas in a good heat efficiency, by directly bring a circulating gas into contact with a liquid alcohol/water mixture heated with the sensible heat of reaction-produced gases to obtain the mixed raw material gases of the steam-containing circulation gas/gasified alcohol. CONSTITUTION:A circulation gas comprising one portion of reaction-produced gases subjected to a heat-recovering process, etc., is directly brought into contact with a liquid alcohol/water mixture heated by recovering heat on the low temperature side of the reaction-produced gases to provide the mixed raw material gases of steam-containing circulation gas/gasified alcohol. The alcohol/water mixture cooled by the contacting operation is simultaneously circulated to recover the heat of the low temperature side of the reaction-produced gases and a liquid alcohol or the liquid alcohol and a liquid water corresponding to the amounts transferred to the mixed raw material gases are supplied for the liquid alcohol/water mixture.
