PURPOSE:To enable recording paper outputs of a plurality of sizes to be obtained through using one kind of recording paper, by using a rolled form paper as a recording paper, and making variable a paper-cutting size in a paper- feeding direction. CONSTITUTION:When a recording paper with a paper width of a recording paper roll 2 of, for example, A3 size is used, the paper width W of the roll 2 corresponds to the size of the shorter side of an A3 size paper. A size L1 is the size of the longer side of the A3 size paper, and a size L2 corresponds to the size of the shorter side of an A4 size paper. When recording paper size is set to A3 size, recording is carried out in the range of WXL1, the recording paper 1 is fed out in a direction A, and is cut at a position for the size L1. When a specified size is A4 size, recording is carried out in the range of WXL2, then the paper is fed out in the direction A, and is cut at a position for the size L2. |
