The suspension, which increases resistance to cracking when added to grouts of normal or polymeric bitumens, consists of 100 pts. water, 0.6-1.2 pts. thixotropic agent, 0.2-0.4 parts ammonia, and 6-12 parts natural or synthetic fibre. It is made by mixing the ingredients and stirring at 30-5 rpm for 10-15 mins. at 5-50 deg C.
