<p>Electrometric appt. for determining the ion concentration in liquids has a measuring capillary for receiving the investigated liquid, this capillary at least partly consisting of a type of glass sensitive towards a definite type of ion, and being surrounded by a reference liquid in which a measuring electrode is placed. The capillary has two zones produced from glass compositions with different sensitivities towards the type of ion to be measured, these zones being separated by insulating material, while each zine is surrounded by a separate space for receiving the reference liquid, and a measuring electrode is arranged in each of these two liquid spaces. The appts. enables the ion concentrations in biologically liquids, such as blood, to be rapidly and efficiently determined.</p> |
