<p>Structures such as window frames comprising a filament or fibre reinforced resin cast about a core frame moulded by an equipment system in which a matched pair of mould halves are conveyed automatically around a closed loop past stations which in turn coat the cavities with release agent, apply gel coats, reinforcement mats and members, marry, press and clamp the moulds, heat cure the resins and eject the mouldings. Several mould assemblies may move as a train, the cycle times being controlled by the press and cure units.</p> |
