Setting anhydrite to form columns, dams etc. - using metallurgical waste mud as setting agent

Mud from industrial metallurgical plants such as blast furnaces, steel refining vessels and electro-zinc coating plants is used as a promoting agent during the setting of anhydrite. USE/ADVANTAGE - Setting anhydrite using water to form columns for mines, dam walls, etc. The mud contains the necessary amt. of cations such as Fe, Zn, Al, metal alkali and alkaline earth ions to form the salts which promote the hydraulic setting process.
