The device has a flat metal part (1) with a hole (3) at the top so that it can be clipped onto the usual belt fastening. In order to adjust the belt for a smaller occupant, the belt is slotted into position in an iron coil (2) which prevents it from rising to the level of the occupant's neck. The device is locked by means of a metal screw passing through a hole (4). ADVANTAGE - The device means that a seat belt can be adjusted so that shorter passengers can wear them without them riding up to the passengers neck, thus reducing comfort and safety.
