The bar consists of a tubular body (2) with axial holes (4) at each end which receives a bolt (5) for attachment to connecting node components. An external ring (6) or washer for rotation with it. The bolt has head (5a) and threaded (5b) portions, with an intermediate portion (5c) between them of non-circular cross-section. The inner hole of the washer has a complementary cross-section to that of the intermediate portion for coupling between them. USE - Assembly of three-dimensional space-frame structures.
