The frame system consists of two or more modular components, one (1) of which forms a female connecting member and may be reduced in length by cutting. The other component (2) has male connecting portions which fit inside the tubular body of the female component. A groove is formed in the internal edges of the top and bottom members of the frame to receive panels or bars to form a structure within the frame.
