Surface contact-making device for RF doors

The invention relates to a door for RF-tight rooms. In order to produce a contact which is radio-frequency-tight on all sides between a door leaf and a screening wall, a sliding door is used which can be lowered into the door opening. The door leaf edge consists of a contact metal sheet which is stiff to bend and rests on the screening wall when the door is closed. When the door is in the closed position, the contact metal sheet is mechanically or pneumatically pressed against the screening wall by means of a contact-pressure device.
