The object of the invention is to design the laminated insulating glass such that this results in the desired sealing of the pane interspace, said sealing, by preventing the exchange of the air in the pane interspace with the outer atmosphere, guarantees a long service life of the pane. The invention relates to a laminated insulating glass, comprising at least two glass panes which are separated from one another by peripheral, hollow spacer profile bodies, whose interspace is closed off in an air-tight manner by a sealing composition applied on the outer side of the spacer profile body, and in the case of which the spacer profiles are connected to one another at their ends by corner-connecting angles whose heads, connecting legs which project into the spacer profiles, which are exposed at the pane corners are likewise coated by a sealing composition. In order to improve the adhesion of the sealing composition on the corner-connecting angle, it is proposed to sandblast the corner-connecting angle, at least in the region of its head which connects the two legs, and thereafter to apply the sealing composition, which penetrates into the surface depressions produced by the sandblasting and is fixed therein.
