Hand cart

A hand cart has two transportation wheels (12, 13) and for pushing in the lateral direction two additional wheels (15, 16) with axles which are perpendicular with respect to the axle of the transportation wheels. The additional wheels (15, 16) are arranged between the baseplate (1) of the hand cart and the two transportation wheels (12, 13) and project downwards over the tangent (17) which runs from the transportation wheels (12, 13) to the rear end of the baseplate (1), the projection of the additional wheels (15, 16) being dimensioned in such a manner that when the baseplate (1) rests on the ground (18) the additional wheels only slightly touch the ground (18), if at all. <IMAGE>
