发明名称 TRANSMISSION TYPE LIQUID CRYSTAL COMMUNICATION METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To surely execute input of information and to improve the reliability of an IC card by consisting the above system of a signal receiving unit which has a signal receiving part to be inputted with the information from a liquid crystal display part which executes communication by transmitting light through a part of the IC card and executing the communication contactless between the liquid crystal display part and the signal receiving unit. CONSTITUTION:The IC card 1 is constituted by building an IC chip and CPU (central processing unit) in an insulating substrate 2 and providing the display part 3 atop the substrate. The display part 3 consists of the liquid crystal display part of a transmission system and the outside thereof is covered by glass, synthetic resin, etc., which allow transmission of light. The display part 3 acts to convert the information in the IC card from an electric signal to visible information. The information from the IC card 1 can be continuously and correctly inputted if the logical condition between the part 3 and the light receiving part are determined and the information of the display part 3 is changed at the specified time intervals. The communicating for reading of the information is thereby executed without contact with the IC card and the drop-out of the information and the mis-input by the defective contact of connecting terminals are prevented.
