PURPOSE:To realize a low vibration and a low noise by variably setting at least one of the frequency, duty and switching starting time of switching according to a pulse rate. CONSTITUTION:A pulse motor 1 is driven by sequentially electrifying the windings of the motor 1 by a voltage supplied from a power source 2 to a motor driver 3 having a phase excitation switching transistor. A pulse motor drive controller 4 forms exciting timing pulses phi1-phi4 to the respective phases. and generates a programmably variable pulse according to the state amount of a device rotated or driven by the motor 1 from the voltage supplied from the power source 2 to the driver 3.
