A wheel bolt is provided in order to be received temporarily in a threaded hole in order to receive a screw bolt in a wheel hub. The wheel bolt has a body area (12) to be fed through the bolt opening in a wheel, a threaded section (14) to be received by the threaded hole in the wheel hub and a shaped area (16) for the transmission of rotational force.
