Method for regenerating ZrF4-containing pickle solutions

To regenerate ZrF4-containing pickle solutions by addition of sodium compounds dissolved in water, a method is proposed in which a batch of the pickle solution to be regenerated is analysed and heated, then the amount of sodium required for the regeneration is determined in detail and mixed in with intensive stirring and finally the mixture is cooled before the NaZrF compounds precipitated out are separated off and a regenerated pickle solution is obtained.
