摘要 PURPOSE:To enable focus detection of plural distance measurement ranges with different spectral sensitivity characteristics and high accuracy by disposing a filter member consisting of plural optical filters in such a manner that the region sandwiched by the optical filters is light-shielded by the light shielding part of a field mask. CONSTITUTION:The luminous fluxes past the regions 27a, 27b enter the filter 21 and diaphragm apertures 24a, 24b via the aperture 20a of the field mask 20 and a pair of the secondary images of an object are formed in the images 28a, 28b of the aperture of the field mask 20 by lens parts 25a, 25b. Since the joint part 100 of the filters 21 and 22 is light-shielded by the light shielding part 20c of the field mask 20 at this time, the generation of ghost light is obviated. Although the light shielding layer is formed in intermediate parts 26e, 26f of the light receiving element array, the light is projected only on the range of a min. required limit by the light shielding part 20c of the field mask 20 and, therefore, the generation of the ghost decreases. The focus detector which is capable of making the focus detection with always high accuracy is thereby obtd.
