PURPOSE:To reduce the scale of a line circuit by having the input of the detecting result of a transmission detecting circuit and the detected information on the originating subscriber address and controlling the correspondence between the address of the line circuit and the address information on a terminal. CONSTITUTION:An SA(originating subscriber address) detecting circuit 11 detects the SA of the packet signal put on a bus 5 and supplies it to an address control circuit 12. At the same time, the package address of a transmission line circuit is supplied to the circuit 12 from an arbiter circuit 10. Therefore the circuit 12 can know the correspondence between the package address of the line circuit and the address of the terminal connected to the line circuit. Then the circuit 12 sets the address of the corresponding terminal at an address filter based on the package address and via a control line 13. In such a way, the concentrical control of address is attained and the scale of each line circuit can be reduced.
