A compressed-air filter for separating off condensed constituents from compressed air having a filter housing, devices on the filter housing for introducing turbulence into the condensate-containing air to be filtered, a condensate collection vessel on the filter housing and a condensate outlet valve, automatically activated by a float, in the collection vessel is provided, between the condensate outlet valve and the filter housing, with a partition having a condensate through hole which keeps air vortices away from the float but permits the passage of condensate.
