The boiler consists of a water-bearing housing (16) which is passed through by a flue pipe (1) which surrounds the combustion chamber (8) and the spaces conducting the heating gases, which are divided into individual flues, and is closed at one end with a closure (23) bearing the burner and opens at the other end into a waste gas collecting chamber (24) with waste-gas take-off connection (24'). In order to make such a boiler corrosion-resistant against not only fuel-specific harmful substances but also harmful substances present in the air, this boiler is designed according to the invention in such a manner that the flue pipe (1) is formed from fluidproof ceramic material, this pipe is ground in the region of the penetration openings (2) of the housing front and rear wall (3, 4), forming sealing seat surfaces (5), and at least one sealing ring (7) is in each case arranged between the opening edges (6) of the housing front and rear wall (3, 4) and the ground sealing seat surfaces (5) of the outer flue pipe (1), in that there is arranged in the flue pipe (1) a second, smaller- diameter flue pipe (10), also made of ceramic material, which surrounds the combustion chamber (8) and is provided on the off-take side with an inserted bottom (9), there being arranged in the annular cylindrical intermediate space (11) between the two flue pipes (1, 10) longitudinal ribs (12) as parts of one or the other, preferably of the outer flue pipe (1), which ribs bear with their free ends (13) against the wall of the other flue pipe (1, 10) in each case, and moreover in that there is arranged on the burner side between the inner space (8') of the inner flue pipe (10) and the annular cylindrical intermediate space (11) at least one heating gas overflow opening (14).
