PURPOSE:To use a solvent efficiently and facilitate placing of nozzles, by a method wherein spray nozzles for spraying a solvent in quantities proportional to picture area ratios measured from printing information for each of sections corresponding to the locations of the spray nozzles are placed along the width direction of a printing paper. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of spary nozzles 20, 22 are placed on the upstream of a printing part along the width direction of the printing paper 10, and are directed toward the printing paper 10. The picture area ratio for each of the sections partitioned for each nozzle pitch span is measured from printing information on a press plate, a film original plate, proof of the like, and the quantity of the solvent sprayed through each of the nozzles is adjusted in accordance with the measured value of the corresponding picture area ratio. Accordingly, since the solvent is supplied directly onto the paper, it suffices to provide the nozzles only at positions between a paper-supplying part and the printing part. |
