PURPOSE:To make a heat exchanger device look thinner and prevent the lowering in the strength of corner parts, by forcing a corner formed by a side plate and a rear plate of a main body to be depressed over an area from the upper plate to the bottom plate of said main body, and arranging this depressed section to face a curved section of a heat exchanger placed along an inner wall of said side plate and an inner wall of said rear plate. CONSTITUTION:A depressed section 7 is provided in a corner 41 where both left and right side edges 4 and 5 of a bottom plate 3 cross a rear edge 6, which makes smaller a depth dimension A of a heat exchanger unit 1 around its both ends 8 than a depth dimension B around its central part. A plate-fin type heat exchanger 10 is bent so that it may be substantially L-shaped along an area from the left side edge 4 of the is bottom plate 3 to the rear edge 6. The outside surface 12 of its curved section 11 faces a stepped part 7. Therefore, the actual depth is the dimension B, but its apparent thickness looks like the dimension A, which serves the heat exchanger unit 1 to look thinner. The strength of corner parts 41 is increased in comparison with a corner produced when side plates and a rear plate are simply bent in a right angle. Therefore, its strength is not lowered even when a suction port 32 is formed up to the place close to the depressed section 7. |
