摘要 The invention relates to an installation having a helium-cooled high-temperature reactor as well as a steam turbine cycle for the generation of electricity (power) by means of heat obtained from the high-temperature reactor at temperatures higher than 900@C. In order to improve the efficiency of such an installation, provision is additionally made of a thermoelectric converter in the form of a sodium concentration cell comprising many individual elements, which is connected via a sodium cycle to a helium-sodium heat exchanger lying in the primary cycle of the high-temperature reactor. By means of a heat sink connected to the cold region of the sodium concentration cell, the sodium vapour is re-condensed and heat is additionally extracted. Various proposals are made for the design of the heat sink.
