PURPOSE: To enable traction slip at the time of high speed by connecting an accumulator through a solenoid valve to one of master brake conduits connected to wheel cylinders, and connecting a relief valve in such a manner as to bypass the solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION: A brake pressure generator 1 including a hydraulic booster 3 is so constructed that master brake conduits 21, 22 extended from a master cylinder are connected to wheel cylinders 27-30. The output side of auxiliary pressure pumps 37, 38 are connected to the master brake conduits 21, 22, and the downstream portions of the connecting parts are connected through inlet valves 23-26 to the wheel cylinders 27-30. The wheel cylinders 27-30 are connected to the suction side conduits of the auxiliary pressure pumps 37, 38 communicating with a pressure fluid reservoir 20 through outlet valves 31-34. In this case, an accumulator 42 is connected through a solenoid valve 43 to one master brake conduit 22, and a relief valve 45 is connected in such a manner as to bypass the solenoid valve 43.
