1,134,143. Coffee pot. S. SANVITALE. 23 Aug., 1967 [31 Aug., 1966], No. 38832/67. Heading A4D. A coffee pot for the production of coffee comprises a lower container or body 1 on the upper outer edge (2) of which there is an annular container (3) disposed externally to the body 1; within the container 1, an inverted beaker member 4 is located, the upper end of which is conical in shape having a concave surface 5 and provided, at the bottom, with apertures 6. The beaker member has projections 7 for guiding and centering it in the container 1 and has an external diameter less than the internal diameter of the container 1. The projections 7, which may also be formed on the container 1, define with the inner and outer surfaces of the two members a circumferential space 8 through which the water flows as it moves upwards. A perforated disc 9, acting as a filter, is situated in the upper portion of the lower container by means of screws. The disc 9 defines, with the upper tapering end 5 of the member 4, a chamber 10 in which ground coffee is disposed. |
