Plastic film for use as a dielectric

Plastic film for use as a dielectric consists of a copolymer of (I) at least 70% (2-isobutyl)-ethamers, and (II) up to 30% ethamers with C1-22 branched and/or unbranched side chains. The plastic film is characterised by having good dimensional stability, and a low dielectric loss factor, especially athigh temp. The films are very suitable for use in capacitor prodn.
