Hydraulic mechanism for opening, closing and clamping the mould as in NL 6809116, has the spaces in front and behind the piston of the hydraulic cylinder closably connected by a valve, this valve body being connected with the adjustable piston rod of the piston. A cylindrical boring is placed concentrically in the head side of a piston directed away from the mould and a control piston within the boring is connected with a piston rod so that a pressure from the cylinder space operating on the control piston is transmitted by the piston rod.
