PURPOSE:To enable a color correction by every division area of a still picture without degrading an image quality, by a method wherein, a stored still picture is subjected to a digital arithmetic processing according to a color correction value selected for every division area and outputted to a printer part and to a monitor. CONSTITUTION:With an input signal which has been digital-converted, data of a still picture is stored in a memory part 3. Then, the still picture data in the memory part 3 is inputted to a color correction part 8 and therein corrected according to the correction of respective colors (Y, M, C). In the color correction part 8, a plurality of color correction values (e.g. D1, D2, D3, D4) which are preset in a color correction data part 9 are inputted from a data selector part 10. In the data selector part 10, a control signal for selecting the color correction values D1, D2, D3, D4 is inputted. The control signal is outputted from a control part 11 according to the predetermined still picture division area (e.g. the number of division). The color corrected still picture data is converted in a D/A conversion part 13 to be outputted to a monitor and is outputted to a printer part 7. |
