<p>A wood improver comprising a waste liquor produced by the digestion of pulp, such as kraft, sulfite or semichemical pulp, and optionally further containing a Steffen waste liquor from beet sugar plant and/or polyethylene glycol. Also disclosed is a method of improving the quality of wood by treating it with the improver to prevent its cracking during drying.</p> |
