<p>The valve, partic, for use with molten non-ferrous metal under pressure and at very high temps., comprises a hollow spherical body into which two channels debouch. The channels are circular, coaxial and diametrically opposite each other and are closed and opened by caps connected by linkages to a hollow element coaxial with the hollow spherical body and driven by means outside the valve casing. The linkages act in grooves in the periphery of the hollow body, the grooves having two diametrically opposite notches and abutments causing the caps to close and open over the channel outlets.</p> |
