PRODUCTION OF ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE BODY

PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of the above photosensitive body by inserting an inside mold to the inner side of a conductive layer, pouring a liquid resin or monomer into the spacing between the conductive layer and the inside mold and curing the same, thereby forming a supporting member which is internally hollow. CONSTITUTION:A coating liquid prepd. by dispersing or dissolving a photoconductive material into a liquid prepd. by dissolving a binder resin in an org. solvent is coated to form the photoconductive layer 1. A coating liquid contg. a conductive material is then coated on the inner side of the photoconductive layer 1 to form the conductive layer 2. The inside mold 4 is thereafter inserted into the inner side of the conductive layer 2 and the liquid resin or monomer is poured into the spacing between the conductive layer 2 and the inside mold 4 and is cured to form the supporting part 3. The electrophotographic sensitive body consisting of the photoconductive layer 1, the conductive layer 2 and the supporting part 3 is parted from the mold 5 and the inside mold 4. The inexpensive electrophotographic sensitive body is thereby obtd.
