<p>PURPOSE:To confirm the set state of an unpublished card to transmit the data thereof, by recovering the card concerned to a recovery box when a read result does not coincide with written data and again delivering a card from a card hopper part. CONSTITUTION:An unpublished card 5 stored in a card hopper 3 is separated by a delivery roller 4 to be fed to a card reader/writer (MCRW) part 1 and, at first, said card 5 passes above a magnetic head 2 and magnetic data is written on the magnetic stripe 10 of the card. In order to check whether the magnetic data is accurately written, the card is again passed above the magnetic head 2 to perform the reading of the magnetic data. Next, the magnetic data read as mentioned above is checked and, when it is judged that the magnetic data is accurately written, the card is immediately published. The magnetic stripe 10 on the card is provided at a position separated from the center line 11 of the card and, when said stripe is not read at all, it can be judged that the card is not fed in an accurate direction.</p> |
