PURPOSE:To stabilize transmission, by arranging a matching resistor having the same resistance as the characteristic impedance for a second transmission line which guides a preamplifier output signal on the first transmission line and has the different characteristic impedance. CONSTITUTION:The title apparatus is composed of a radiation detector 30, a preamplifier 20, a counting-rate meter 15 and the like. The output of the detector 30 is sent to a counter 6 of the counting-rate meter 15 through a cable 2 as a voltage pulse signal. A cable 3 having the different impedance is connected to the end part of the connector 6. A resistor 4 having the resistance equal to the characteristic impedance of the cable 2 is connected to the other end of the cable 3. Reflected waves are generated at the respective unmatched parts. When the input voltage exceeds a reference voltage in a comparator 5, a pulse signal is outputted to a counter 10, and the result is displayed on a display device 11 through an MPU 12. Therefore, the signal can be stably transmitted as the electric signal. |
