<p>This vertical battery is regeneratively heated by fuel gas. The battery is charged at the top and emptied from below. Air and fuel gas are supplied at the top of the oven. Regenerators and fluge gas outlets are also at the top of the battery. The flame travels downwards in the heating channels and hot gases are reversed at the bottom and they return to top for outlet through regenerators in to chimney.</p> |
